Asda owner bidding for MyDentist

UK's largest provider of NHS dental services valued at between £800 and £900m.

TDR Capital, the owner of supermarket chain Asda, is bidding to buy MyDentist, the UK’s largest provider of NHS dental services.

According to Sky News, TDR Capital is one of a number of equity investment groups bidding; the others being Bridgepoint, Cinven and Triton Partners.

A subsidiary of Integrated Dental Holdings, MyDentist operates from about 600 practices across the UK, and has been owned by Palamon Capital Partners since 2021.

It is valued at between £800m and £900m
