Speakers announced for the Scottish Dental Show 2025!

This year's special guest is Adele Johnston, the menopause coach and educator.

World leading speakers who are presenting at this year’s Scottish Dental Show on GDC recommended topics, clinical expertise, wellbeing and the business of dentistry have been announced.

They include Professor Marie Therese Hosey, Head of Paediatric Dentistry at King’s College London, Dr Shalini Kanagasingam, Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire, and Andrew Hince, Head of Radiation Protection, NHS Highland.

The Scottish Dental Show will be held at Braehead Arena on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 June. The event is attended by more than 2,000 delegates who have the opportunity to gain up to 10 CPD hours, network with colleagues and meet representatives from more than 120 dental supply and advisory companies.

The Show’s Education Programme features all of the GDC’s recommended and highly recommended topics:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Disinfection and decontamination
  • Radiography and radiation protection
  • Legal and ethical issues
  • Complaints handling
  • Oral cancer: early detection
  • Safeguarding children and young people
  • Safeguarding vulnerable adults.

The special guest speaker at this year’s show is Adele Johnston, the menopause coach and educator, certified nutritionist, positive psychology coach and advanced trauma-informed breathwork facilitator.
