The Scottish Centre for Excellence in Dentistry (SCED) is a renowned referral centre that goes above and beyond for over 1,500 referring dentists, and their patients – and for self-referred patients too! Together, our fantastic clinical team has 350 years of combined experience (100 in dental implants) and is made up of leading specialists in a range of fields, including:

We Are at the forefront of digital dentistry
Our experienced clinicians are proud to treat patients using cutting-edge technology. With an on-site laboratory, we offer a unique and personal service for patients and clinicians. Working with digitally innovative technology means we can offer minimally invasive and advanced options. Our 3D printers are CAD and CAM (by Nobel & Straumann). They are compatible with all implant systems, and our range of intraoral scanners provide 3D visual outcomes – an incredible tool and aid to use with patients. This improved digital workflow between dentists and laboratories is great for increasing productivity.

Our clinic is proud to be continually developing a team of over 11 specialist clinicians and three hygienists, all of whom are instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our reputation as a leading multi-disciplinary centre of excellence.

Our highly skilled dental nurses are proficient in dental radiography, impression-taking, intraoral scanning and digital pathways. And our support staff, administrators and dedicated referral and treatment co-ordinators ensure first-class customer care and experiences for patients and clinicians on their journey with us.

To continually improve our services, we are passionate about training and educating our dedicated team – providing them with opportunities to grow and thrive in their roles. In an ever-changing environment, we look forward to introducing more team members to our family, and we’re also very excited about expanding with an additional three surgeries and seminar space too!
