 Park Orthodontics

Situated in the west end of Glasgow, Park Orthodontics is proud to be at the forefront of contemporary orthodontics.

Having expanded in 2022, the practice has eight surgeries spanning two floors offering NHS and private orthodontic treatment to all ages.

Led by specialist Andrew McGregor, the team continues to grow and branch into all areas of dentistry to help improve the outcome for their patients. Current orthodontic services include:

  • Fixed orthodontics
  • Invisalign
  • Functional orthodontics
  • Early interceptive orthodontics (mixed dentition)

With adjunctive services including:

  • Guided bioflim therapy
  • Composite bonding
  • Facial aesthetics
  • Orthodontic teaching and support

Andrew and the team are also happy to work with referring dentists providing these services also.

Treatment Philosophies

The non-extraction option

The Park clinicians will favour a non-extraction route whenever possible with most parents, patients and referring dentists agreeing!

Early interceptive treatment

With the advent of Invisalign First and Teen products, predictable early correction of malocclusion features such as crossbites and overjets has never been more accessible. They encourage dentists and parents to refer children early when problems are spotted to ensure no opportunities are missed.

Dental Monitoring

Dental Monitoring is an AI-led company based in Paris. Patients are invited to ‘scan’ their teeth with a smartphone camera, weekly, which is then appraised by the AI and the team at Park.

Having adopted its use in 2019 to monitor clear aligner treatment and now fixed appliances, the benefits to the patient and practice have become clear:

  • Closer supervision of treatment
  • Better patient compliance
  • Early detection of problems (decalcification, breakages etc)
  • Less in-person appointments are required.

All this adds up to happier patients and a happier team!
