Henry Schein hit by cyber attack
Henry Schein said today that it had been bit by a cyber attack.
The company said its manufacturing and distribution businesses “experienced a cybersecurity incident”.
But it added that practice management software used by its clients has not been disrupted.
It said in a statement: “[We] promptly took precautionary action, including taking certain systems offline and other steps intended to contain the incident which has led to temporary disruption of some of Henry Schein’s business operations.
“The company is working to resolve the situation as soon as possible. Henry Schein would like to thank its customers and suppliers for their patience and understanding.”
