Awards shortlist announced

Scottish Dental Awards 2016 finalists are revealed

The shortlist for the 2016 Scottish Dental Awards is now out with Glenbervie Dental Clinic leading the way with five finalists.

The Larbet-based practice is shortlisted for Practice of the Year, Website of the Year, Dental Team Award and there are individual nods for receptionist Gemma Walker in the Unsung Hero category and Louise Anderson in the Business Manager/Administrator of the Year category.

Following close behind Glenbervie is Inverurie Dental Practice with four finalists – Practice of the Year, Dental Team Award, The Style Award and Business Manager/Administrator of the Year for Lisa MacDonald. Whitecart Dental from Glasgow, Tryst Dental Practice from Stenhousemuir and Southwest Smile Centre all received three nods on the shortlist.

Last year’s Dentist of the Year Barry Lemon from Bluewater Dental in Lochwinnoch is shortlisted again for the dentist award, while 2014 Laboratory of Year winners Porter Boyes are back on the laboratory shortlist for 2016.

The 2016 Awards Ceremony and Dinner will take place at the Glasgow Hilton on Friday 13 May and will be hosted by television personality Carol Smillie.
