Scottish Dental Show shortlisted for UK award
The team behind the 2015 Scottish Dental Show has been shortlisted in the Team of the Year category at a UK-wide awards ceremony to be held in London next month.
The PPA Connect Awards 2015 aim to celebrate the very best events in the UK and the shortlist features some of the biggest names in the industry.
The 2015 Scottish Dental Show, held at Braehead Arena on 13-14 May, attracted more than 130 exhibitors and nearly 1,800 delegates, an increase of more than 30 per cent on the year before.

The event featured a world-class speaker line-up including a keynote address from one of the UK’s foremost clinical academics, Professor Edward Lynch, and providing up to eight hours of verifiable CPD.
Alan Ramsay, managing director of Connect who organise the show, said: “The Scottish Dental Show has gone from strength to strength ever since our first event in 2012 at Hampden Park. The team has put together a world-class event that has consistently punched above its weight.

The show is up against three other events teams in the Team of the Year category, Lancashire Business View Team, Lancashire Business View; Investment Europe Team, Open Door Media Publishing; and Retail Investment Team, Incisive Media.
Members of the Scottish Dental Show team will be heading to London on 7 December for the awards ceremony, which will be held at Etc. venues on Liverpool Street.
