Following the very positive responses to its range of talks at the Scottish Dental Show, financial advisors PFM Dental is hosting a preparing for retirement event on 25 September.

The fifth annual event will take place in Edinburgh and also include Scottish Dental Show participants, Thorntons solicitors, and dental accountants, Campbell Dallas.

The one-day seminar will cover selling a dental practice (including legal and accountancy issues) and wealth management for dentists. This is an essential event if you are expecting to retire within about 10 years and it qualifies for 5.5 hours of CPD.

PFM Dental director, Martyn Bradshaw, said: “It is vital that dentists plan for retirement well in advance and seek professional advice on what can often be complex legal and financial considerations. This seminar will cover all the issues dentists should think about if they want to plan for a financially secure retirement.”

The CPD preparing for retirement seminar is on 25 September 2015 at the Edinburgh Marriott (Airport) Hotel from 9am to 3.30pm. The cost is £60 and lunch is included.
